This tour gives you an opportunity to see both the emirates of Sharjah and Ajman. Ajman, located a short distance northeast of Sharjah’s capital city is the smallest of the seven emirates. Fishing, both traditional and modern, and dhow building are still important industries. Ajman’s museum, housed in an ancient fort, served as the ruler’s palace.
We then drive back into Sharjah, with a photo halt at the cultural roundabout and thereafter proceed to the Al Majarrah Souq. Next halt to visit Bait Al Naboodah, the Al Naboodah family house, been converted into the heritage museum. We continue on to The Al Hisn Fort, the traditional residence of the ruling family of Sharjah. Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Qassimi. Visit the nearby Souq Al Arsah (Courtyard Souq) is one of the oldest popular souqs in the UAE. We then take a tour of the fish market to see the catch of the day. Continue to Central Market, well known as the Blue souq. Opposite the Souk stands the majestic King Faisal Mosque and the Pearl Monument, symbol of the UAE Federation.
